Discover the creative experience of handbuilding with clay at Ceramique Ceramic Studios!

During this beginner-friendly class, instructor Arkady Thompson will guide you step by step as you transform clay into two one-of-a-kind pumpkin luminaries. You’ll learn basic handbuilding techniques while shaping your pumpkins and adding your own cutout faces, expressions and creative details.

No previous clay experience is needed. This small-group class is designed to provide plenty of personal instruction and time to create.

Your $55 registration includes:

• Guided 2½-hour handbuilding class

• Clay to create two pumpkin luminaries

• Use of the necessary tools and supplies

• Drying and 2- kiln firing of your completed pieces

• Support from an experienced clay instructor

Please note: This is a handbuilding class using wet clay. Completed pieces must remain at Ceramique to dry thoroughly and be kiln-fired. Clay pieces are not available to take home on the day of class. Because handmade clay pieces can occasionally crack or change during drying and firing, slight variations and imperfections are a natural part of the pottery process.

Advance registration is required. Class registration is non-refundable. With at least 72 hours’ notice, your registration may be transferred to another participant or moved according to Ceramique’s event policy.
